For Sale Humber 3. 5 HP 500cc. Year of manufacture 1912. Registration No KT 2199.
This Motor Cycle whilst being 108 years old is still in very original condition, it has never been restored, the black enamel, the lining out in gold and green, the petrol tank paint and art work are all as it left the factory in 1912. Mechanically it also appears to be very original.
This is a matching numbers machine. The frame no is 4437 with engine number A387 as per the 1921 Buff log book and the 1925 Tax Disc which is still on the Bike.
It is eligible for the Epson to Brighton Pioneer Run with Pioneer certificate No 869. It was a regular participant in the 1970's and early 1980's. All the Finishers Medals and Memorabillia are included.
It is now in full working condition, it starts readily using the original (car type) starting handle. The Motor Cycle is perfectly useable on the road with its two-speed rear wheel hub gearing with clutch. More photographs available on request.
