Ownership
I am the sixth owner of the car. She was supplied in London and then moved to Norwich around 2002. She had three owners in East Anglia and was serviced in Norwich, Derham and Great Yarmouth before moving back to London on 1st January, 2008 to live in Purley. I bought the car from this owner on 5th December, 2008. This is the facelift version of the W140 and getting towards the end of the production run. Unfortunately, she has to find a new owner in advance of ULEZ coming to London next year. She is just about run in at 126, 000 miles.
Service History
The car has a very comprehensive service history. Under my ownership she has always been serviced by Dean Robinson, a Mercedes specialist in Park Royal in London, firstly as Merctech and then as Robinson’s.

Bodywork
I have had a few panels resprayed over the years. There are of course a number of stone chips as you would expect and a few panels do now require respraying.
Performance
M104 engine 3. 2 straight 6 with 24 valves mated to the desired late 5 speed automatic gearbox with “Standard” and “Winter” modes. This produces 235 bhp and 315 Nm of torque with a 0-60 time of 8. 5 seconds and top speed of 140 mph. This car is still incredibly smooth and quiet and a joy to drive.
I am a keen Mercedes owner having owned in the past a 1983 500SL (R107), 1999 SL320 (R129) and a 1988 560SEC (C126). I have just bought a ULEZ compliant E220d as the successor to this S320.
The car lives in Chiswick, just five minutes from the end of the M4 and the A406 North Circular.
