Beschreibung

The second-generation K11 was built in the UK, Japan and Taiwan. It was launched in Japan on January 1992, and released in Europe in the fourth quarter of the year. It was powered by brand new all-aluminium 1. 0 L (CG10DE) and 1. 3 L (CG13DE) DOHC 16-valve engines, with 55 PS (40 kW; 54 hp) and 75 PS (55 kW; 74 hp) respectively (higher outputs were claimed in Japan, according to the JIS rather than DIN/ ECE rating), both with ECCS (Electronic Concentrated Control System) fuel injection.

After receiving minor changes in 1996, the Micra received a facelift in 1998, six years after its launch.

Then, Nissan released this the Cabriolet or FHK11 as it was known internally. Unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1995, but it was not sold until August 1997, with an electric top. These were produced in limited numbers for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) only, with what is believed to be only 250 produced in total. However, much like the Nissan Figaro, some have been imported into the UK unofficially.

From some research it seems only around 30 cars made it to the UK and are registered with the DVLA.

This particular car was imported to the UK on the 6th May 2004 and it has had 1 previous keeper since then.

This car presents wonderfully in red with a relatively recent soft top roof that was custom made and fitted in 2009 by Trim-Tec at a cost of £500 with receipt to prove. The car has also just passed its recent MOT in July that is good until 11th August 2021 with only 1 advisory being the rear coil springs which are showing early signs of corrosion. The paperwork folder included with the car contains the original japanese service manuals and owners manuals as well as invoices for servicing and maintenance works in the current owners ownership since June 2004 when she acquired the car from the first owner who imported the car to the UK.

This car has the 1. 3 litre engine which runs beautifully and the automatic gearbox changes smoothly as you would expect from a well built and reliable Japanese hatch.

All electrics seem to work with the electric top going up and down seamlessly. This car has ABS, Air conditioning, Alloy wheels (could do with refurbishing), remote central locking, drivers airbag, electric mirrors, electric windows all round, twin airbag, power assisted steering, Sony CD stereo. The bodywork is generally good with a few patches of surface rust as one might expect on a car of this age. The interior is in like new condition with only a small hole in the passenger seat, otherwise it looks showroom fresh!

These cars are few and far between and incredibly collectable so snatch it up now before its too late!
