This car was a competition prize for Faberge’/ Lynx in the early 90s -The Lynx logo is still on the boot lid.
A 1992 classic TVR with only 42, 150 miles. Full history including all MOTs.
Black with Magnolia hide interior and new veneers to the dash and trim.
The body and interior are in very good condition. The chassis and running gear are exceptional.
The car has been loved undergoing a major overhaul in 2016 where over £20, 000 was spent on the mechanics including chassis, brakes, steering, cooling systems all stripped, cleaned, rebuilt along with alarm system and new immobiliser. The car has covered less than 1500 miles since then.
TVR legend, Peter Wheeler, was responsible for the 400SE. It reflected all he believed TVR should stand for: an excess of power over grip, great looks, and noise with no nod to tradition or conservatism! This was first fully epitomised in the TVR Tasmin 400 SE which proved to be a success in both the showroom and on the track.
This is a great bit of TVR History and fabulous car.
MOT till August 2021 this lovely car is ready to go.
