The original Tiger 900, manufactured by Triumph Motorcycles Ltd was introduced in 1993 and remained in production with minor improvements until 1998.
Known to its fans as the 'Steamer', a nickname identifying it as a Hinckley Tiger, not a Meriden Tiger, and also distinguishing it as a carburettor, not fuel injected engine, this 885 cc dual sport motorcycle sold in comparatively small numbers in its native UK, but with some relative success in the USA and continental Europe, particularly Germany.
The Triumph Tiger 900 is a versatile tourer and inter-city commuter with the same rear wheel power as a BMW R1150GS. Other notable characteristics of the 'steamer' include the strong 885cc Liquid-cooled 12 valve DOHC in-line 3-cylinder 94bhp engine and the seat height which give a dominant riding position with the ability to see over other traffic. With the wide seat, 24-litre fuel tank and good windscreen it was perfect for long-distance commuting and touring.

This beautiful example was first registered on 15th May 1996 and it has only covered a very low 10, 966 miles from new and it is clear on all HPI registers and the National Mileage Register.
It was last serviced by LG Motorcycles in London, W14 @ 10, 440 miles and it was MOT'd on 1st May 2020.
This motorcycle really is in excellent condition as you would perhaps expect for such a low mileage example and must be seen to be appreciated.
