Here at Old Colonel Cars, we have a superb, extremely low mileage, extremely original example of the BMW E30 325 Convertible. This August 1990 example has covered only 39, 000 miles, making it one of the lowest mileage examples available. 2 family’s have cared for this car from new, the last, a Lt Colonel, cherished this car for 20 years, he purchased this lovely car when in his 70’s. It comes with a perfect history, including a picture of the handover with the original owners of this car.
You would struggle to find a more original example, all original panels, no welding. Look underneath this car, it clear to confirm this car was never driven in the rain by the previous owners of 20 years, always garaged when not in use. The Lt Colonel even used to remove the roof when storing the car over winter, to save creasing it, it still looks like a new roof. He used his trusted steering wheel, originals are easy to come by. There is also the original hardtop in perfect condition available to purchase with this car.

This BMW comes with a lovely specification, including very rare air conditioning, still working and performing perfectly. We have Power steering, ABS, Electric windows, Electric mirrors, Original stereo, BMW Computer, Wind deflector, Optional Hardtop,.
Bodywork / Interior / Wheels etc
The bodywork on this example is finished in beautiful Royal Blue, colour code 198. All very original and as you can see looks superb, with a deep all over shine. Look at the wheel arches, all solid metal, there are no rust bubbles, this car has obviously been very well cared for. The chrome bumpers look great with this paintwork and are in excellent condition.
The interior is finished in Indigo leather, giving the interior a real quality feel. This is all in excellent, original condition, Look at the seats, look at the door cards, a superb interior. A perfect dash, perfect deep pile carpets, original overmats.
The alloys are all in excellent condition, fitted with excellent set of the correct, Goodyear tyres.
Engine / Gearbox
This BMW features the super M20 2. 5 straight six engine. With only 39, 000 miles and perfect maintenance, this engine is the smoothest and freshest 2. 5 I can remember driving, its a lovely engine. Look closer and you see how good this engine presents, all hoses, all gaskets, soundproofing, all in amazing condition.
This BMW has the switchable automatic gearbox. This again performs as you would expect for the low mileage. Very smooth and responsive, with sports mode giving you just a bit more response.
History
We have a lovely, fully documented service history. We have all the original manuals, an original service book, original sales brochure, original bill of sale, a folder full of old MOT’s, service receipts, full ownership details from new. It also benefits from a full VOSA mot history and a full HPI clear report including mileage verification.
