Description
Supplied by Douglas Cameron on 1/ 1/ 91 this stunning Grey 964 Targa 4 is an absolute joy to drive. Full Porsche History through to 80, 000 miles, followed by Charles Ivey and a full engine rebuild at 80465 miles.
A very well looked after car with stacks of history, lots of old MOT's, loads of invoices and most importantly it is completely rust and rot free.
Having only done 35000 miles since its rebuild the car has had lots spent on it to keep it looking as good as it does now. I've owned a few Targas and this roof is very quiet, the interior far better than its age suggests and a true credit to the previous owners.
The car has been maintained by Modern Classics in Lytham most recently and can be viewed there as this is where I store it. Brand new springs and shocks (H&R springs and Koni adaptive dampers) which not only lower the car but I have never known shocks like this on an air cooled Porsche. It rides superbly and is extremely compliant, no crashing. It is firm, handles brilliantly but is also amazingly comfortable.
A recent inspection showed the car is (amazingly) completely free of oil leaks and a "very dry" car to quote the mechanic who inspected it.
Full geometry and alignment set up when the suspension was done in July along with an oil change and inspection service at 116520 miles. Hasn't been driven since.
A beautiful looking car in a rare colour which looks superb and drives even better.
