This is a truly breath taking example of a Triumph Dolomite. To be honest, it isn't the immaculate Honeysuckle bodywork on this car which bowls you over, it's the incredibly stylish Italian design of Dolomites in general which makes them such appealing classic cars. The subtle curves, the slight flares, the measured chrome trim - everything combines in fantastic proportion to make the Dolomite an eternally stylish car. The spotlessly polished chrome wheels give the whole car a show look.
The chocolate brown interior is lovely order too, and together with the unmarked seats, the interior is as much a work of art as the outside. It's very comfortable to ride in and the wooden trim adds to the feeling of a solidly built car.
This Dolomite 1500 is the upmarket HL version, with twin carbs, and optional overdrive fitted to the 4-speed manual gearbox. The car still easily capable of keeping up with modern traffic and will give many years of driving pleasure and plenty of admiring looks to its next owner.
