MECHANICS & RELIABILITY UPGRADES (160 bhp)
The famous 2. 0L 16-valve engine has been completely overhauled and optimised to develop 160 bhp, delivering a transformed driving experience. All the model's chronic weak points have been definitively resolved:
• High-performance cooling: Installation of a heavy-duty cooling system with dual electric fans and electric water pump (eliminating any risk of overheating). Oil cooler.
• Modern electrics: New headlights and tail lights fitted with relays, new modern ignition with supercharger, new starter motor and alternator.
• Transmission: Gearbox completely rebuilt, equipped with its precious functional Overdrive. The propshaft has been completely remade and balanced (no vibration).
• Suspension and braking: Completely new and improved braking system to confidently handle the extra power.
AESTHETICS & TOP-NOTCH FINISHING
The car presents a remarkable bodywork and presentation condition:
• Full respray: Carried out in its rare and stunning original Carmine Red colour. The work was done both externally and internally on the bodywork (sound underside, no corrosion).
• "Concours" interior: Very attractive original interior enhanced by woodwork completely remade in elm burl, protected by three coats of high-gloss poly varnish for an exceptional mirror-like finish.
• Period details: Fitted with vintage torpedo-style wing mirrors on the front wings, complemented by a door mirror for perfect visibility.
