While the Ferrari 348 may not have been the bedroom wall pin up that the Testarossa or F40 might have been, it is a car that should not be overlooked.
This 1993 example is the desirable GTB model, and its squat stance, distinctive side vents and iconic red paint work look spectacular. It is definitely car that stands out on Irish roads.
Having recently formed part of a large private collection, the car is in wonderful overall condition and has been subjected to major recent work to keep it in perfect order and driving beautifully.
Speaking of which, this is where the 348 really shines.
The mid-mounted 3. 4 V8, with its signature Ferrari sound, is glorious and marked a huge step forward in performance over previous V8 Ferraris. What’s more, is that being a GTB this car has increased power output over the TB and TS models and has improvements made in the suspension, too. The overall is result is a thoroughbred driver’s car that keeps you on your toes and has possibly the best steering on a car we’ve ever experienced.
The car has covered a mere 81k kilometers and the recent work carried out by a specialist (with a bill in excess of over €8k) includes a new clutch, new belts and pulley, new engine seals throughout, an electrical system overhaul plus lots more.
