1988 suzuki rg500 gamma - matching numbers - 12 months mot - uk registered – amazing bike
offered for sale is a 1988 suzuki rg500 gamma.
this bike is a uk bike first registered in the uk on the 10th of may 1988
it was sold by west midlands motorcycle centre and exported to germany in june 2018, where the new owner sent the bike to an ex-suzuki mechanic, i am informed the mechanic worked with kevin schwantz in the day as a grand prix technician (see links below regarding mechanics work)
the bike has only done 325 miles since the rebuild!
the bike has matching frame and engine numbers.

work carried out on the engine chassis no. Hm31a106271
engine removed and complete. Disassembled
housing parts cleaned and all sealing surfaces planned;
b all motor bearings (12pcs) and sealing rings (7pcs) renewed;
original suzuki gearbox updates installed (6 riders)
carbon fibre rotary valve upgrade and rotary valve cutout determined to optimize performance;
b rotary valve housing cover infeed compartments, reworked for conversion to carbon fibre rotary valve upgrade
b honed cylinder, planned sealing surfaces, channels and rudder; The rollers of the exhaust control
cleaned and the exhaust ducts adapted for the installation of a new exhaust system
cylinder heads mounted with higher compression; New pistons, rings, bolts, needle bearings, etc.
thrust washers mounted
crankshafts checked for concentricity and readjusted;
the engine completely. Assembled,
the clutch upgraded with reinforced springs and lighter steel plates
a lighter alternator rotor mounted;
carburettor dismantled, cleaned,. various orings renewed, preset for performance optimization and
mounted with new flanges to the intake pipe
new larger radiator as the original ones are prone to over heating
nitron rear shock absorber
lithium battery
i also have the spare original parts that will be supplied with the bike.

the bike starts easily, runs well
the bike will be supplied with a v5 for the new owner.

as you can see from the photographs the bike is in excellent condition i also have some of the original parts – exhausts / radiator etc, these will be included in the sale of the bike.
