Motodrome offer for sale one of our favourite 1980’s sports coupes – a 1985 BMW 635 CSi this one a rare manual, with the Getrag close-ratio dogleg gearbox and limited slip differential.
Whilst the far more numerous Automatic is a fine car in itself, the manual gearbox frees up the full performance of the motor, and really suits the car.
Fitted with full leather, BMW sports seats, aircon, electric sunroof/ windows/ mirrors, cruise control (not tested) trip computer, headlamp wash/ wipe, front fogs, and rear spoiler,
Also fitted with 17in alloys with 235/ 45 ZR17 tyres, and a Momo sports sports steering wheel, although the original is with the car.
Odometer reading 121000m (so just run in) - the M30B34 engines are capable of starship mileages. My last daily driver had covered 215000 miles when I sold it and it was still running like a train.
History -wise we have the original handbook/ service book with 16 stamps in it, and a folder of bills and old MOT’s. Recent work includes a rebuilt ECU, new front suspension bushes, new fuel lines and new discs and pads all round, and a service.
