This right hand drive, automatic, Type 2 Camper started life as a Westfalia model. The last owner acquired it ten years ago and fitted a new interior which converted the VW to a six seater but still allowed sleeping for four.
More recently the bodywork has been restored throughout and the interior has been refreshed where necessary and a brand new Vanwurks cooker/ fridge/ sink unit has been installed. The front seats are upgraded. The camper is very clean and smart inside and the pop top is in excellent order.
The bodywork is very straight and looks smart after its rebuild two years ago. Underneath, the Type 2 is clean and shows no signs of deterioration.
The automatic gearbox works well and allows for leisurely touring and seems to suit the vehicle. The steering, suspension and brakes are all up to scratch and the camper drives well and without too much effort.
