The T180 tractor model presented here, called "Kurzschnauzer (Shortnose)" by its enthusiasts, is a representative of the very first tractors developed by the Austrian company Steyr-Daimler-Puch, launched on the market in 1947 and built until 1953. This tractor, also known as the "26 Steyr", contributed significantly to feeding our population in the difficult post-war and reconstruction period. Because of this and because of its proverbial indestructibility, this model is revered and loved to this day! A total of 25, 303 units were built and exported all over the world.
This tractor is really in very nice condition. The engine never froze up, as unfortunately happened to many of its brothers due to carelessness. The tires are brand new. The engine starts even in winter temperatures and runs very well. If this T180 is also to be used on the road, it must be registered as a historic vehicle. This can be done easily and inexpensively through our company.
By the way, due to the maximum speed of 26 Km/ h stated by the factory, the tractor is exempt from the annual inspection according to §57a (Austrian MOT)!
The beautiful Steyr is in our exhibition center in Klein-Poechlarn can be visited with pleasure against previous telephone appointment arrangement from Wednesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00 a. m. and from 2:00 to 6:00 p. m.
