There’s no denying the charm of the humble Morris Minor, and what could be more charming than this pristine 1967 Traveller in Old English White.
Having undergone a complete restoration, the car is in stunning condition both aesthetically and mechanically.
The paint, brightwork and woodwork are all excellent. In fact, every corner of this Traveller is superb including the immaculate engine bay and underside.
The original red interior has stood the test of time remarkably well and the cabin feels fresh and airy. All controls (not that there are many of them!) work perfectly, too.
The extensive restoration also included a rebuild of the 998cc engine which has covered just 65k miles. Having had a new SU carburettor fitted plus new points, plugs, rotor and cap, it starts effortlessly whether hot or cold, too.
The car is surprisingly fun to drive with a positive gearchange and a leisurely cruising speed of 50mph.
If you’re looking for a pristine and practical classic car full of charm and character, you’ll do well to find better.
