1995 ASTON MARTIN DB7 3. 2 AUTOMATIC
Just arrived in part exchange is this beautiful cheviot red Aston martin DB7 . It has had just 4 owners from new and comes complete with both keys an original bookrack and leather wallet and lots of old service history/ paperwork and old mot certificates to verify the mileage.
The vehicle is completely HPI clear so free from any finance or previous accident damage etc.
As with every part exchange we have given this car a thorough test drive and health check in our workshop. It drives fabulously and without fault with no warning lights displayed - we are happy to demonstrate this via video for any long distance buyers if that helps.
We have decided to sell this car at our part exchange price as there are a few cosmetic imperfections that ideally need doing for this car to be in perfect condition. I will outline these honestly below and you can also watch our youtube video online which also shows the vehicle in further detail:
At the front of the vehicle there are some stone chips to the bonnet and bumper which have been touched in and look unsightly on close inspection - this will require the full nose painting to make a perfect job, on the drivers side door sill there is a white “scratch” which i would attribute to the car having a lady owner for 20 years as it looks like a mark from a high heel in my experience from someone repeatedly getting out of the car. There are also some chips to the wing mirror covers and both rear quarters have small rust scabs on the very bottom edge, the drivers quarter also has a scratch that has been touched in, again both quarters will require painting to make perfect.
I appreciate that this is a 26 year old car and I am probably making it sound worse than it actually is but I wish to describe the car accurately as it is very difficult for people to view normally in the current circumstances. If I were to carry out these works I would expect the bill to be in the region of £800 to £1000, we are simply way to busy with restoration projects to undertake any extra work at the minute.
The interior of the vehicle is is fabulous condition and testament to the quality of the materials used by Aston Martin. There is some wear to the base of the drivers seat which will require reconnolisation to make perfect and the instrument binnacle has a few small marks on (again this is all shown in the online video).
