GOOD POINTS. This Rover is in very good original condition with nice paint and straight panels. A completely new interior was fitted about 5 years ago (at a cost of £4, 000) and now the patina looks just right. The car runs and drives very smoothly with a positive gearchange. It is 100% reliable and you can drive any distance with confidence.
A monthly log has been kept dating back from 1952.
One previous owner from new with present owner 20 years.
I aquired this car in a swap with the present owner, who is also a friend. I never intended keeping the car, this is why it has become available. He may be contacted if required.
I have just spent £700 with Meteor Spares to include 4 New Hubcaps and new Running Board Rubbers. These will be fitted soon as weather permits.
The Registration Number is transferable.
The car has M. O. t till sept 2010 with free tax.
BAD POINTS.
Some surface rust starting to show on the bumpers.
Wood work needs a re-varnish.
Tool Tray scruffy.
Not sure if this model should have a Sunroof.
Under bonnet dull.
Not sure if Free wheel, or self lube works.
