Of BMW’s impressive back catalogue, one model seems to stand out above all others – the BMW E30 M3.
Hailing from the homologation special era, a limited number of 148 special M3s, known as the Europameister, were built to celebrate the car’s racing successes in the 1988 season, and this is one of them.
First registered in early 1989 and imported to Ireland by BMW dealer and collector, Frank Keane, in 1990, this M3 has been meticulously maintained throughout its life and is in stunning condition.
All 148 cars were painted in Macau Blue metallic and fitted with an upgraded spec to that of the regular M3, including silver Nappa leather, stitched leather centre console, cruise control, rear blinds and various other details such as the signed plaque on the dashboard.
Mechanically, the Europameister was the tried and tested spec of the regular M3 whose performance was already legendary. The high-revving 2. 3 4-cylinder engine is glorious and the overall driving experience more than lives up to the hype.
This is a unique opportunity to acquire a pristine example of one of the rarest and most attractive E30 M3 iterations. Will pass any inspection.
