2002 VW GOLF GT TDI PD130 - 1 OWNER
We are delighted to have just taken in part exchange this beautiful 1 owner from new golf gt tdi 130 from a great customer of ours.
We are confident that this is one of the finest, most genuine examples currently available for sale anywhere . It has been maintained its whole life with no regard for cost and comes with a fantastic service history, initially by Benfield Volkswagen and then in the last 10 years by the same local Porsche specialist who cared for the customers 997 carrera 4s. As well as regular servicing it had an annual “pre mot” before its official inspection and comes supplied with both a set of winter and summer tyres. There are also regular invoices for the same Porsche specialist changing these tyres each year for the customer.
Its most recent service was in November and only a couple of hundred miles ago, as well as having a service it also had a new driveshaft and cv boots fitted at the same time, it was also MOT’d for 12 months also.
As well as an excellent history folder and all the old mot certificates there is a full bookrack including an original service book in its bound wallet. There is also a original sales brochure and 3 keys.
The Metallic black paintwork is in very genuine condition indeed with only a few minor stone chips to the front bonnet edge, the body is free from any major dents/ scratches or chipping. There is a couple of small marks on the rear bumper as highlighted in the video but nothing that detracts from the overall smart appearance of the body. It has been garaged from new in a city centre garage locally by the past owner so it also reassuringly free of any bodywork corrosion that normally effects this age of Golf.
Inside, the cabin is in equally good condition, the black leather seats are free from any rips/ tears or damage and there is virtually zero wear to the edge of the drivers seat, a real testament to how well cared for this car has been . It is a very well specified car and as well as the optional leather seats it is also fitted with heated seats, ASR traction control, upgrade alloy wheels as per PD150 and digital climate control Climatronic air conditioning.
As you would expect it drives exceptionally well, there are no knocks, rattles or untoward noises from the drivetrain and no warning lights displayed.
The car will come supplied with 2 sets of tyres (both summer and winters) and we are also going to have a new door latch fitted to the offside rear door which has failed (anyone who knows these cars will know this is a common fault)
