Volvo 164 Historic Rally Car
Now is your chance to own a rare and fantastic rally car!
This car was stripped back to its bare shell and rebuilt into a great historic rally car, the build took around two years and was completed in 2016. There was no expense spared and the build quality is very nice, nearly all parts fitted were new.
The engine was assembled by Markku Taipale and the cylinder head was built by Petteri Sappinen. This engine sounds great as you can imagine being a 2980cc straight six, with the Weber 45 triple carburettor setup. We have a dyno report from 2016 showing 227hp / 280Nm.
It was inspected and a FIA passport was issued on 01. 06. 2016 (Period H1 – 1972 to 1975), valid until 31. 12. 2026.
Road registration papers are all in order and it can be driven on public road just like any other car.
The body is totally rust free and very straight, you need to see all of the photos to apricate it.
