Every now and then we encounter special vehicles which we would love to keep in our stable, this is one of those!
This beautiful 280TE is in all her original livery inside and out. The paint was blown over professionally in 2019 and the whole vehicle went through the hands of a very precise collector - he put his touch on her and it clearly shows.
The interior is 100% original although a full carpet set was imported and fit to give the car that little bit of extra detail.
The dashboard is faultless, like the rest of the vehicle. Her mileage shows 199000km and she has all her books and manuals.
The radio is the original Becker from the factory and plays perfectly with a working antenna.
She has her toolkit and first aid kit as per photos.
She has her original factory engine and automatic transmission. The windows are electric and all of them work. Then, the special item - an original Mercedes Roof carrier colour coded to match the vehicle. This is not an aftermarket loadbox but an original Mercedes product.
Her wheels were refurbished to look like new - the tyres are also new.
The W123 Mercs have become quite a commodity in the collectors and enthusiasts circles. The Touring Estate such as this example is cream of the crop, especially in a condition like this.
There is nothing to spend and she is ready to tour anywhere in the world as her intended purpose.
