Description
1967 Morris Mini Minor Super-deluxe saloon in factory Island Blue with factory Cumulas grey trim as supported by the Heritage Certificate. This mini has been subject to a ground up full restoration which was completed in 2015. The body was totally rebuilt including complete floors, front end, sills (correct 4 vent), door skins, A panels and rear valance. All of the running gear has been rebuilt including hydro elastic suspension, subframes, brakes, engine and gearbox. The parts bill alone was over £7000. The original 850 cc engine now has a Cooper cylinder head, larger HS4 carburettor, 3 branch exhaust manifold, Cooper exhaust and an oil cooler. To drive it feels much like a 60s 998 Cooper. The dynamo has been upgraded to an alternator but within the body of the dynamo for the period look. The interior is stunning with a lovely Les Leston steering wheel. The roof lining is new and has been very well fitted which is always challenging. The wheels are 4. 5 by 10 steel wheels on matching tyres. The history file belongs in a museum! I have all of the service invoices dating back to the 60s and 70s and a mileage history from 1967 to 2021. It has the original fully stamped service book and even the Fuel Ration Book. There is a record of its owners from new. The restoration is documented with 346 photographs on a USB stick. Every part of the work is photographed listed on a job sheet and the invoice is in the file. It even has keys that match the doors, ignition and boot plus a spare set. It is now showing 62600 miles and has covered 4000 miles since the rebuild so is nicely run-in. The end result is a great looking mini which drives very well with a complete history file since 1967. A rare and special opportunity. Free delivery to your door in my curtain sided van within 200 miles of South Molton.
