The engine is a reliable Volvo B20 four with Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection system, 4 gears plus electrical overdrive, 124 hp, disc brakes around.
Current owner bought the car from the UK in 2001 as a historic vehicle, later registered with the Finnish museum registry. It was very originally equipped and mechanically in good condition, but some rust repair were needed. Also the steering system was moved from the right side to the left using only Volvo original parts, the front seats have been reupholstered.
The car was resprayed in 2015 with original colour and latest rust protection was applied 2021. The car has gas shock absorbers in the back and adjustable oil shock absorbers in the front, stainless steel exhaust system and inner fenders protectors at the front. All rear rubber bushings are new, the brake system is overhauled. Pirelli Cinturato tires are in good condition. It is equipped with an original Volvo radio. Its history is not known, so true mileage cannot be ensured, but the engine runs perfectly without any problems or noise, with modest oil consumption. The engine compression test has been made with good, documented result, Yearly up to 1000 km trips have been driven around Finland.
It was just inspected (MOT/ TUV) on 19. 04. 2021 and passed without any issues.
