Exterior Body
The Polo is finished in the factory colour ‘Tornado Red’ and the paintwork is great all around the vehicle. There is no fading or lacquer issues on the panels and no damage. The ‘Fox’ features the iconic rounded single-headlamp grille and small bumpers with a white trim.
Wheels & Tyres
The original Volkswagen steel wheels are unmarked and each have the genuine VW black centre caps. All four tyres have just been replaced and are matching.
Interior Components
The interior features special edition 'Fox' cloth upholstery which consists of a red pattern on grey cloth and vinyl seats. This design is complemented by the interior Tornado red doors and grey door cards. All components within the vehicle are in brilliant condition and everything works as well as it did when the Polo was new.
Mechanics
Mechanically, the VW has undergone our full in-house inspection and has had all mechanical and aesthetic components replaced and refurbished that were required by our specialist technicians. The vehicle will be sold with a new 12-month MOT prior to sale and our 3-month warranty.
Service & Maintenance History
The Polo has been fully HPI checked and has no damage history or any issues recorded. Prior to us purchasing the vehicle, it was stored inside a barn from 2009. We have fully recommissioned the vehicle within our in-house restoration garage and we have a fully documented breakdown of the work carried out.
Drive & Comfort
The drive of the Polo is effortless and surprisingly responsive for the engine capacity. The suspension sits well and the steering is light. An absolute pleasure to own as a starter classic or a reliable retro investment, the Polo 'breadvan' is a versatile vehicle which has been loved by many for generations and will be for years to come.
