This is a rare black CBX1000Z originally from Germany in lovely condition. We never had the black bikes but Germany and Austria did. The bike was used in Germany from 1978 to 1985, and was then stored off the road until 2020 when it was recommissioned. We brought it over just prior to Brexit, showing on 17, 700km (We cannot verify this) have redone the paintwork and had it serviced by Cary Knapton of the Supersport Shed, and changed it to the equivalent UK mph Speedo showing 11, 300 miles. The bike was upgraded in the 80s to have the wider 39mm prolink front forks and twin piston front brakes. It does give it a much more balanced front end, and a slightly better ride than the original. We can also supply by separate negotiation standard forks, triple tree and front calipers for those who want the option of returning the bike to standard spec. The bike is lovely to ride, looks great in black, sounds awesome on song and these CBX's are one of the very best classic bike investments.

The bike comes fully serviced, with a new MOT (Not technically required as historic) and a six month warranty.
