The Amazonas were built in Brazil where they used the 4 cylinder boxer engine from the Volkswagen Beetle.
Not for the faint hearted this is a huge bike!
But does benefit from have a 4 speed transmission complete with reverse gear
Currently in Japan where it has be on display and in storage for around 20 years. With 5214kms on the clock it is only about 3300 miles. This bike is rare and must be an investment opportunity for a bike collector or Volkswagen enthusiast!
It’s one of only 450 Amazonas 1600s known to have been built for civilian customers and is equivalent to the police-spec bikes in every way. The bikes frame number is BSX000099
