1972 ROLLS-ROYCE CORNICHE DHC
We are absolutely delighted to be able to offer this amazing Corniche that has just arrived into stock . This was the original owners absolute pride and joy from when he purchased it brand new up until 2017, some 45 years, when he was sadly no longer able to drive. The vehicle then passed to a local private collector for 18 months who unfortunately had no time to enjoy it due to the lockdown so decided to let it go, resold it to a great customer of ours in the midlands, he is now downsizing his collection so we have purchased this along with a few other vehicles. It has covered only 29000 miles from new and was regularly maintained and serviced by the original owners own workshops as he owned a very large transport and logistics company locally.
The last owner spent a five figure sum (£16k) only last year with a renowned Rolls Royce Specialist ensuring this car was mechanically correct for him to enjoy. At the same time all of the walnut veneers were removed and sent to an ex Mulliner Park Ward coach builder for refurbishment (anyone in the know will appreciate this is a lengthy and expensive process but so worth it!!)
I am confident that this is one of the very finest examples available anywhere and certainly on a par with any of the examples for sale advertised at almost double the price of this one
Finished in nugget gold metallic with an ivory leather interior, this is simply one of the finest examples you will find, it is panel straight with no evidence of filler in the panels, it looks like a factory paint finish and is genuinely as good in the flesh as it looks in the pictures - not many times you can say that!! To achieve a paint finish as good as this on one of these cars would be a very expensive process indeed.
I would actively encourage any interested parties to view this car as soon as possible to appreciate our sentiments toward the condition. Similarly we are happy for it to be inspected by any third party/ Rolls-Royce specialist.
The cherished numberplate shown is obviously of significant value and we are happy to discuss any potential deal including the plate also.
