1972 BMW E9 3. 0 CS
Just arrived in part exchange this week is this drop dead gorgeous looking BMW E9 coupe.
An exceptionally rare 3. 0 car with a manual gearbox. It is left hand drive but UK registered with a current V5.
Current prices of these cars are absolutely stratospheric , this particular example presents a unique opportunity to enjoy one of these at a very sensible price indeed .
It is an exceptionally tidy vehicle and mechanically correct - running and driving with no issues even though it has been seldom used in the past 12 months due to the last owner having too many cars!
The body on the car as a whole is very good and the paintwork very straight level and bright overall. The external trim on the chrome bumpers has pitted and in my opinion will require rechroming or replacing - I have seen bumpers for sale online relatively inexpensively.
Inside the car the seats are in excellent condition overall although I think the door cards are slightly ill fitting and some of the lacquer has lifted on the wooden trim in places.
This car is for sale at well below current market value to allow for the rectifications highlighted above, our workshop is so busy at the minute with other works otherwise this would be our intention and ask top retail price!
