This July 1999 model is one of the last and rare, special edition models, 1 of 82 UK cars. This 328 Sport benefits from a superb specification, Velvet Blue paintwork with a Champagne / Cream, extended, sports leather interior, with the special ‘Edition’ alloys.

The paintwork is finished in Velvet Blue metallic. As hopefully comes across in the pictures and the video, this has a lovely deep all over shine. Look at the arches, look at the wings, this is obviously a very well kept example with none of the usual rust found on lesser examples, no noticeable dings or dents.
The interior is Champagne leather. This has the extended leather pack, so the leather extends to the door cards etc. Its all in lovely original condition, please see the interior pictures.
The rare ‘edition’ wheels are in excellent condition, no curbing etc.
The soft top on this car has recently been replaced, so is in lovely condition. Its fully electric and this has recently been serviced so it operates as it should, one touch of the button.
Engine / Gearbox
The 2. 8 straight six engine runs and performs perfectly. Look at the engine bay, its been kept as clean as the rest of the car. This engine is a great unit, plenty of power, very smooth and responsive.
On this car we have the sports / auto gearbox. This has the sport button, giving quicker kick downs etc
History
This BMW benefits from an excellent, fully documented service history. We have all the original manuals in their original BMW folder, we have the original, full stamped BMW service book, we have a folder of old MOT’s, Service receipts, HPI clear report with mileage verification.
Summary
The BMW E36 328 Sport makes for a fantastic, usable modern classic. They have certainly come of age, they really do look fantastic now, especially in the spec this car has. Given the recent price rise of the E30 (the earlier model), the rare Edition and Sport E36’s have fast becoming very sought after. Simple to maintain and service, they shouldn’t cost too much to run.
