A beautiful Jaguar Mark 2 finished in Old English White with a host of upgrades to enhance the driving and performance.
With the Mark 2 market remaining strong, we are proud to offer this excellent example maintained and restored by specialists at CMC in 1998-2000. However, this is no ordinary Jaguar Mark 2. Boasting a 4. 2 E-Type Engine, this car drives superbly with an extra punch of power, this, coupled with its 5 speed manual gearbox, power assisted steering, modern HIF carburettors, uprated suspension and central locking give a driving experience that is comfortable, sporty and most importantly fun. Changes have also been made inside the car; these include a stereo system, Vanden Plas seats with head restraints and an air conditioning system.
Sadly, in 2013 this car suffered a very minor battery fire. Despite CMC meticulously and perfectly repairing the car, unfortunately the owners insurance company recorded a category D insurance loss against it. Never-the-less, the car was such an important vehicle to the family that it was brought back from the insurers by its owners and CMC completed repairs and returned the car to the road as good as new.
Overall, this car presents a great opportunity to own a Jaguar Mark 2 with E-Type power whilst still maintaining its original looks. Maintained and restored by our specialists, used sparingly and lovingly and coming from a long term client of ours.
