Here at Old Colonel Cars we have a superb example of the BMW E34 5 Series, with only 52, 000 miles from new. Excellent, low mileage examples like this are getting very hard to find now. This example is a low owner, a February 1990 example, featuring the same 2. 5 straight six engine as fitted to the e30 325 sports, along with the smooth auto gearbox. It’s a beautiful car, finished in Calypso Red Metallic with a Cream cloth interior. These E34’s are renowned for the rock solid build quality, hence most of then have covered over 150, 000 Miles, many years ago. This example is a rare survivor, long term owners have obviously cared for this car, keeping it stored correctly. There is none of the normal rust, look underneath, its amazingly original. The real pleasure from this car is it drives as good as it looks. The full, comprehensive service history confirms this BMW has always been maintained correctly. The result is a super smooth, quiet engine, with all the performance it should have. The gearbox works perfectly, hot or cold. Suspension and brakes operate as they should. This car is such is so refreshing to drive, something to look forward to for those weekend trips.

Inside, all I can say is wow, it’s certainly been looked after well, really takes you back. Its finished in Cream cloth, as you can see the seats are in amazing condition. Everywhere you look in here, it’s in lovely, original condition.
The BBS alloys on this E34 are in excellent condition, fresh from a full refurb. All fitted with an excellent set of quality tyres.
Engine / Gearbox
The 2. 5 straight six engine in this E34 is a delight. It’s starts and performs perfectly, smooth acceleration without any fuss. The engine is the perfect choice for this model, its very relaxing to cruise around in.
The auto box, with Sport mode performs as it should, hot or cold, lovely smooth changes and instant kickdown when asked for.
History
This BMW comes with full, documented service history, just what you ant to see on a classic BMW. We have the original, fully stamped service book and all the original manuals, in the original BMW book pack. We have a well organised folder full of old service receipts, BMW sales invoice, old MOTs etc. It comes with a clear HPI certificate, including a clear mileages verification check.
