Just out of very long-term ownership (some 40 years) this superb little Austin, which has not seen daylight for 10 years, has just emerged from hibernation. It has been kept on-the-button during its hibernation, and when we collected it, it started immediately and drove out of the garage with no problems at all. It was rebuilt to exacting standards over a lengthy period during the 1980s by the current owner, with the help of his good friend - a real labour of love - and it still looks fresh from its restoration. The condition is truly excellent with very good paintwork, first class panel fit, including doors, and a really lovely, high quality interior, having been professionally refurbished in 2002 (at a cost of over £2, 300) all in very nice leather with quality, edged carpet and wool headlining. The underside of the car again, is excellent, as are the wheels, and the tyres look like new (although they are getting on a bit). This car is offered for sale only because of genine reasons for non-usage. It starts easily and drives along as it should through its 3-speed gearbox. All the instruments work, even the interior light. We are looking for a genuine buyer who will regularly use this car as it deserves. Comes with V5C, and a small file of invoices.
