Hello and thank you for looking at my tentative advert for my pride and joy, garage queen and 1st/ main love of my life!
my intention was to be the custodian of this rare ford for many years and hand it over to my son (hes nearly 3) when he is 17. however my wife seems to think they will have flying cars by then and with our property company expanding, now could be the time to pass it along for someone else to enjoy.
below will be general information about the frp's but for now, more about mine.
79, 900 miles from new.
full service history.
just been fully serviced and rocker cover gasket replaced.
just had a brand new racing fuel pump installed as to be honest, the standard ones are naff and fail for fun if the car isn't used regularly. (£300 from pumaspeed)
a mass of service history and receipts from new for everything. Huge folder. Cambelt changed not so long ago etc.
loads of spare parts, original radio, engine cover etc etc.
3 keys from new.
loads of books, some very rare and expensive, magazines and anything to do with frp.
genuine ford racing puma blue and white garage / dust cover. Soft feel.
paintwork is good but obviously age related marks.
i used the cars for many shows before covid.
star of manchester airport car show wit. Printed details and passes.
always stored in heated garage, never driven in the rain, wet or any suggestion of damp weather.
no mot however can come with 12 months no problem.
i'm in no rush to sell. This is a collectors car, classic and a ford so prices are on the steep incline. These will follow the escort cosworth prices.
the buyer will need to expect to be stopped and everyone wanting to talk to them about it. People having their pictures taken with it and anyone who catches a glimpse of it deciding they have to talk to you immediately! Taking it out for a drive means pictures appearing on the forums asking "whos frp" is this...
