A nice and very useable TC in very good condition, having been restored between 2013 and 2015 and having been very well maintained ever since. The maroon paintwork is excellent, and pretty much blemish-free. The structure of the body is good and the doors fit well. The underside of the car is very clean and tidy, the mechanics are again, very good and with the benefit of a 5-speed gearbox, the car drives very well with a much improved cruising speed and without the usual noises of a standard gearbox. It starts first time and the engine runs very well. Good oil pressure and even an electric cooling fan which was fitted for a touring holiday in France – much warmer over there! The steering has also been improved with the fitting of the now very popular Volkswagen steering box; this is further enhanced by the Brooklands steering wheel. The tyres are good, as are the wire wheels and the chrome work is in very good order. We understand that the car spent some time in America, which is probably why the structure is so good. Comes with canvas hood and side screens, which as you can see are again, in very good order. All in all, this is an excellent car, ready to enjoy. V5C and some paperwork.
