Enjoy being transported back to endless days of summer whilst going for a picnic in this absolutely stunning late 1940’s Morgan; this car offers superb value for a model that is appreciating in value and is extremely desirable.
This is a stunning example of the Series 1 Morgan 4/ 4; the iconic Morgan that marked the factory’s original departure from the Three Wheelers that had defined the company entirely prior to 1936. The original 4/ 4 was built with the Coventry Climax engine but the Standard Special 1267 engine (as is in this example) became an option in 1939.
A beautiful, owner lovingly restored car that has been renovated to an extremely high standard to the point where it looks as if the cost of the restoration considerable exceeds the asking price. Car was restored to its present immaculate condition and the final interior trim completed in 2016. The owner has used top quality materials and suppliers such as Paul Beck, Tim Hodgkiss and Holden Vintage &Classic throughout its extensive restoration.
The car is fitted with solid wooden dash with the correct old English white instruments, and the correct period Bluemells sprung 4 spoke steering wheel.
The interior is newly trimmed in Black leatherette, with new side screens, and Black Vinyl hood and Tonneau, with the work being completed by Custom Coach Trimming of Malvern.
The car glistens in our showroom in its recent respray into Mid Brunswick Green.
Since the car has been restored, it has only completed a grand total of 71 miles.
We have extensive documentation (a 3 inch thick folder!) that comes with the car detailing its restoration along with all invoices for its restoration and parts are included. Included amongst the documentation is the original buff logbook for the car.
