Exterior: Mercedes 280CE in wonderful green metallic car with green velour interior. The outside of the car can best be described as a very nice daily driver. Fitted with 15” Mercedes Barock wheels and proper Michelin tyres. The C123 in 280 was the end and the top of the line. I think it is a very stylish car and the colour combination on this particular Mercedes 280 CE makes it even more so. All details on the outside of this car are original and in a very good state. It had a quality repaint many years ago and still looks very good.
Interior: The big clear glass lets you look in to this Mercedes 280 CE W123 and the carpets, panels and seats are all in different shades of green. It is an original interior in exceptionally good condition. Only showing very little signs of wear and perhaps slight fading from the sun in the back of the headrests in the backseat. The trunk area is nice and clean and all original.

The black panels in excellent condition and underneath is the original spare wheel, never used. And on the trunk lid the original warning triangle. The original tools in its little red pouch . In Sweden pulling a caravan was very trendy so every car had to be fitted with a tow bar. This can easily be removed if you have no intension to go camping with your W123 Mercedes 280CE.
Engine: The Mercedes 280CE engine has been well taken care of over the years. It has recently 2021-08 had an oil change. All six fuel injectors have been replaced and the fuel filter. Some of the linkage for gas pedal are new. The car runs beautiful in both engine and gearbox. The C123 280CE was the biggest engine alternative with the 2. 8l straight six producing 185hp.
History: The Mercedes 280CE was probably an early import to Sweden in 1985. The last owner had the car from 2010 and the owner before that since 1999. The Mercedes Coupe is well documented and recently serviced. It looks like it is a good time to buy this model right now. The value for well cared for examples are expected to rise.
