Description
1957 Austin Healey 100/ 6 (fitted with 3000 engine) in Henley Blue/ Ivory White with Cream leather piped in navy, navy carpets and navy hood. Fitted with chrome wire wheels, overdrive and side exhaust.
This car was subject to a complete 'bare metal' restoration in 1990 for which there is a file with all the invoices relating to the rebuild, as well as all service and maintenance since 1988. It was painted in Henley Blue/ Ivory White which was the original colour as confirmed by a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate.
The gearbox was rebuilt in 2014 and in 2015 the engine brought up to 3000 specification by Austin Healey specialists Pete Farmer Performance Racing. The addition of louvered bonnet and side exhaust add to the styling and soundtrack of this very attractive classic.
