Introduction
Here at Old Colonel Cars we are delighted to have a superb example of the classic BMW, the E30 320i Manual convertible. This excellent, late 1992 example has covered 109, 000 miles, with an excellent, fully documented service history. The E30 is a superb classic to own, rising in value, very usable, drives very well and if you find a good specialist, very easy to maintain and find parts for. This example has excellent paintwork, an excellent sports cloth interior, but just as importantly, its in excellent condition underneath. All solid sills / jacking points / arches etc. Very hard to find in this condition now. The last owner has cared for this example for 7 years, over servicing it really, taking it to a very thorough BMW specialist to maintain. Its just had a full Inspection II service along with having the cambelt replaced.
Specification
This BMW comes with a lovely specification, Electric windows, Central locking, Electric mirrors, ports seats including the desirable rear headrests, Leather trimmed steering wheel, 15 inch BBS alloys including spare, full toolkit etc.
Bodywork / Interior / Wheels etc
The bodywork on this example is finished in Lagoon Green metallic. The paintwork is in excellent shape, a lovely deep all over shine. Look closer, down the sides, across the large panels, no noticeable dings or dents. This car looks to have mostly original paintwork, such a nice colour, only available on these very late E30’s.
Look all over the underneath of this car, sills, jacking points, this car has obviously been very well cared for, all solid, all look to be rust free and original.
The interior is finished in lovely extended check sports cloth, giving the interior a real sporty and period feel. This is all in lovely condition. Look at the seats, no wear on the bolsters, look at the dash, no cracks, excellent carpets and door cards.
The alloys and tyres on this car are in lovely condition, these 15inch BBS are the best alloys from this period and they are all fitted with excellent tyres.
Engine / Gearbox
This BMW features the 2. 0 straight six engine. It starts and performs perfectly, very responsive. Very quiet and smooth from cold.
The 5 speed manual gearbox provides smooth changes hot or cold, a lovely precise feel with a nice light clutch.
History
This BMW has an amazing, fully documented service history, no less than 28 Services. We have all the original book pack, original manuals, fully stamped original service book, a folder full of service receipts / old MOTs, the history will not disappoint.
