Introduction
Here at Old Colonel Cars we are delighted to have this January 1991, Porsche 944 S2 Coupe. We are massive fans of the Porsche 944 range, they make fantastic weekend classics. We have had the pleasure of selling and owning may of this range. Well this example can only be described as amazing, it really does stand out as an outstanding example. Look at the service history below, the most comprehensive I have ever seen on any Porsche, all backed up by every bill and receipt, from the original Porsche Sales invoice when new, to the present day. The S2 Coupe is described by many as the pick of the 944 range, with improved 3. 0 engine producing almost the same power as the turbo model, the same rounded front bumper and rear spoilers as the Turbo, near 50 / 50 weight distribution mated to a lovely, firm 5 speed gear box. If you are looking for one of these, this example really must be seen. It would compliment any collection and would stand out at any show.
Specification
This car comes with a lovely specification. It features Electric windows, Electric and removable sunroof, Remote central locking / Alarm, Electric Sport seats, Headlight washers, ABS
Bodywork / Interior / Wheels etc
Finished in Alpine White with a Blue ‘Porsche Logo’ Sports Cloth interior. The paintwork and bodywork on this example are excellent. A lovely deep all over shine. Look closer, no noticeable dings or dents, all shut lines look good, all rubber and decals look factory fresh. All wheel arches are solid and it looks to be a very original example. This 944 would present well at any show. Look at the pictures underneath, all solid, a very original and well kept example.
Inside the lovely original condition continues. The seats as you can hopefully see from the many pictures and video, are in lovely condition. Look around, all door cards, carpets, dash are just as nice. It still features ifs original Porsche floormats protecting the unmarked carpets. Headlining is all good. Look in the boot, none of the normal signs of damp, look in the engine bay, its ready to show to fellow enthusiasts.
All the alloys are unmarked and fitted with excellent tyres.
Engine / Gearbox
The 3. 0, twin cam engine runs and sounds as a properly maintained engine should. Look at the history, regular oil changes and coolant changes have kept this unit in fine fettle. The engine is a delight to use, plenty of performance.
The gearbox and clutch feel great, very nice clutch feel and very precise gear changes.
History
This 944 has a perfect service history. Obviously been owned by enthusiasts from new, they have kept what must be one of the best and detailed service history’s available. We have all the original manuals, presented in their original Porsche case. A very large folder full of all receipts etc from new along with a fully stamped service book.

Summary
This really is an outstanding example. It looks fantastic and it drives perfectly, starts without fuss.
If you take the time to read the history, any advisories noted on services are quickly dealt with, to keep on top of the maintenance of this car.
