The avid SLSHOP website reader would be mistaken for presuming this car has just landed from the exotic shores of Florida, Los Angeles or Cape Town, the combination of white exterior and deep red interior with white wall tyres alluding to a life of luxury on foreign shores…. not so. This superb car was ordered new in the United Kingdom as a Right Hand Drive 5. 0 litre V8, built in April of 1988.
Traditionally, British buyers would shy away from a colour as bold as White with Red, a fact that explains why we see very few Right Hand Drive cars with Mid Red Leather. In recent years we can recall just two or three cars complete with this option, although it has to be said that a Fir Green Leather Interior makes Medium Red seem common… The mid-red over white option that is fitted to this car gives this particular SL an air of opulence and class..
