We have just imported a 2006 Toyota Crown Majesta 4. 3 V8, the UZS186 version.
It is now registered on a 2006 plate and MOT'd to August 2022. It is also ULEZ exempt.
For those who were wondering, the Crown Majesta is a luxury car produced by Toyota for the JDM market. It is my understanding that it sits just below the Century in the Japanese model range. Some versions are available with a 3. 0 engine but the example offered here uses the 3UZ-FE V8 as used in the Lexus SC430. The Century was of course 'the Japanese Rolls Royce' (something that I would agree with having owned two examples) and the Majesta is a more driver focused car, more akin to a 7 series. It produces around 280 bhp and drive goes to the rear wheels through a 6 speed automatic transmission. It has covered just 80000 miles (129, 000 kms) and benefits from having Japanese service records.
This black car has contrasting black leather trim and is in amazing condition throughout, particularly the underside.

An aftermarket rear silencer and air filter housing have been fitted in Japan, bringing out the best V8 sounds when you want them.
Our preparation has so far included fitting a rear fog light (integrated into the former offside reverse light), and the last noted cambelt change was 16, 000 miles ago (62000 mile intervals).
All in all an interesting car that turns heads (many say it resembles a Maybach from the rear) and has good UK parts supply.
