A splendid example of the Kawasaki KH400, dating from September 1976.
A distinctive motorcycle from Kawasaki's legendary run of two-stroke triple motorcycles through the 1960s and 70s. A powerful, mid-ranged model which packs a punch but is a little easier to hold onto than the larger models of earlier years! Always a pleasure to ride, you can't help but smile at the sound and smell of that engine!
This example is in superb condition throughout. Any work carried out over the years looks to have been sympathetically resulting in an exceptionally clean bike today. It operates as it should, starting easily on the kickstart with a little bit of choke, running well and stopping nicely. Although now MOT and road tax exempt, it was subject to a final MOT in 2015 which it passed with only a couple of minor advisories. Since that point, the accompanying documents suggest it has been subject to work on the engine as needed. In 2015 it had travelled 8, 795 miles so since then it has been used regularly and so is well proven.
Overall, a splendid example with investment potential and great fun to ride!
