Description
Manufactured June 1900, Equipped with 402cc 2 ¾ HP water cooled De Dion Bouton engine, Perfecta No 2 'Touriste' frame, Bozier gearbox, Complete but requiring restoration when discovered in the early 1990’s by USA collector John McMullen and restored to a concours standard by Detroit based specialist Brian Joseph of Classic & Exotic Service. The Quadricyle formed part the John McMullen 130 car collection until being offered at the 'McMullen Collection' sale in the USA in 2007 where it was purchased by car collector John O'Quinn to add to his significant 300+ private car collection. Following Mr O'Quinn death, the Quadricycle was sold to a London based enthusiast in 2010, Recent works and re-commissioning by specialist Julian Parker Ltd, Complete with provenance file including current V5C and a dating letter from Michael Edwards, Chairman of the De Dion Bouton Club UK and author of The Tricycle Book, 1895-1902 making the Quadricycle eligible for numerous Veteran Car Club events including the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run and Pioneer Run.
