This low owner, January 2003 example is one of the rare ‘Edition Sport’ models, produced as one of the last, special edition models. This example has covered only 78, 000 miles, with only 3 former keepers.
Finished in Titan Silver metallic with a Black Montana leather interior. This is a lovely looking, well cared for example. Looking at the paintwork, it’s in excellent condition and has a lovely deep all over shine. Look closer, there is no rust, no noticeable dings or dents, it really does look good, especially with those lovely BMW alloys.
Inside is just as nice. There is no real wear to the seats, the extra quality Montana leather is in excellent condition, lovely and soft. Keep looking round, the rest of the interior is just as nice. It’s clear the previous owners gas cared for this E39 correctly, its a very clean and original interior that could easily pass for a 3 year old car …
This is a 520 Automatic, featuring the 2. 2 straight six engine mated to an Automatic / Sequential gearbox. The engine sounds and runs perfectly, plenty of smooth power, the gearbox changes as it should.
It soon becomes clear when driving this car, its been properly maintained. It really does drive extremely well. The suspension and steering feels very tight, the brakes pull up very well, even from 70 mph+, obviously the suspension and brakes have been maintained and replaced when needed.
This E39 benefits from full service history. We have all the original manuals, an original, fully stamped service book, a folder full of service receipts and old MOT’S, the original BMW sales invoice etc.
Underneath this car, engine bay, boot, the lovely condition continues. Good, original E39’s like this are getting very hard to find and are getting very sought-after, as they are excellent cars.
