Here we have an absolutely beautiful Jaguar MKII 2. 4 Manual Overdrive car finished in what is probably the best colour of Opalescent Blue Metallic, Black Leather Interior. Showing only 2 owners from new, YES !! only 2, the last chap has had it from 1978. The car is so lovely and straight on the body, shut lines are all excellent and the paint is beautiful. I have MoT certificates going back to 1981 and the current MoT is until June 2022, obviously well maintained by it's previous owners who though it isn't required made sure she had a fresh test every year.
The chrome is as bright with no pitting, headliner is good, clean and not dropped. The wood is solid with no water stains but would benefit from a re lacquer to bring it to the same standard as the body and paint. Leather is good with no rips or tears, it has been re dyed at some point. Fitted with 123 electronic ignition she starts and idles well immediately, oil pressure is good and healthy, upgraded brakes to the front, stainless steel exhaust. A really nice example.
