These MG sportscars are extremely popular, and an early F Type is becoming quite desirable, partly due to the most attractive design. This particular model, which is well finished in Anthracite Grey, is in good condition and has covered only 71, 000 miles in its 21 year life. The car was MOTd in July and was serviced in the same month. At 70, 000 miles, it had a new cam belt, cylinder head gasket, water pump and all the necessary ancillaries to do the job properly. This car drives very well indeed with good performance and handles well on its Toyo tyres which are all in good condition. The car has the advantage of a steptronic gear change system, which offers three alternatives; to drive it in the standard automatic setting; to drive it in ‘sport’ automatic setting, or to drive it in manual change setting using the paddles on the steering wheel or the gear lever (6 speed) – there is obviously no clutch pedal. The interior of the car is in good condition, with nice leather seating. The hood has just been refreshed and is in good condition, and as is usual, it is very quick and easy to operate – around 15 seconds or so to put the hood up or down. The boot compartment is well carpeted and in good order and the under bonnet area is nice and clean and tidy. This is a car ready to be used and enjoyed. These cars really do offer great value for money. Comes with V5C, original handbook and service book.
