EXTERIOR
The body of this example presents in nice original condition in line with the car's mileage. The paintwork has a lovely deep shine and there are no signs of any corrosion. The front bumper and bonnet have a light scattering of stone chips and there are a few on the door mirrors and rear arches. All of the lights are free from cracks or moisture ingress and the plastic trims around the car are in good condition and again all free from damage.
INTERIOR
The interior is also in nice order. The driver's seat only has minimal wear to the edge of the bolster and the passenger and rear seats are immaculate. The dashboard, centre console and door cards are all in excellent condition as are the carpets and headlining. The boot area is very clean with no signs of damage to the plastic loading area or carpet.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Popping the bonnet reveals a nicely presented engine bay, which is overall standard other than some upgraded hoses and a Miltek performance exhaust system. The car is accompanied by a great maintenance history with 10 service stamps in the original service booklet. Since arriving at 4 Star the car has been fully inspected and freshly serviced for the new keeper’s peace of mind.
WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES
The factory RS OZ Racing alloys are all in good condition with no major curb marks but there are some light chips to report on close inspection. The wheels are shod in a matching set of Pirelli PZero tyres that have seen very limited use having only been fitted in August 2021. The brakes are also in fine order, with new front pads and discs fitted at 53, 461 miles.
HISTORY FILE
This well-presented example was first registered in September 2003; it was supplied new by C D Bramall in Hertfordshire and has now driven just 54k miles in the hands of only 5 keepers, the current since 2018. The History File is complete with a raft of invoices, numerous MOT certificates, the leather RS document wallet with all handbooks, and the original service booklet with entries at the following mileages: 3, 867 – 6, 398 – 10, 581 – 17, 104 – 36, 881 – 41, 163 – 45, 972 – 51, 152 – 53, 274 – and 53, 461 miles. At the current mileage we have just had a full mechanical inspection and major service carried out ready for the new keeper to enjoy.
