A timewarp one family ownership from new car & having covered just 69, 000 miles from new. This car was bought as a gift to himself by a Messingham based business owner & was always garaged from new. As soon as winter approached it had its annual service done & then was driven to sunny Spain where it did winter duty going back & forth from the local golf course.
A comprehensive stamped service book comes with the car showing the incremental mileages. It was then little used after the first onwer passed on other then being given a monthly run by a family member.
The car is finished in pristine Diamond Blue metallic which is original & in simply beautiful condition. Hard indeed to believe it is 35 years old as it appears to have recently left the showroom. Being always garaged is responsible for this wonderful paintwork with no sun bleaching & no weather related blemishes.
The story continues under the bonnet with a pristine original engine bay in a condition just as it left Damiler Benz in. The car is crisp, immaculate & utterly corrosion free along with perfect alloy wheels. The under boot area where the spare wheels & tools are stored is like new.
The seats are of Mercedes Checker fabric & again are unmarked & paragons of comfort. Being a long wheel base model there is acres of room in the back for those who prefer to be driven. The car is fitted with a sunroof & has a full size spare to the rear along with all the requisite tools & first aid kit.
Almost impossible to find in this spec & condition, the car is simply a pleasure to drive & harks back to the days when Mercedes Benz was a byword for quality & produced utterly reliable cars built to withstand massive mileages without complaint or trouble & were possibly the best built cars in the world.
