This particular car carries a remarkable story, having been first delivered in June 1989 to heavyweight boxer, actor and celebrated nightclub proprietor Billy ‘Golden Boy’ Walker during his time living as a tax exile in Jersey. As one of the final-year production cars, it benefits from all the incremental developments made to the W107 series across its long and illustrious life. It remained on the island until 1993, before being acquired by its next owner in 1994 from Stratton of Knutsford with just 7, 500 miles covered.
Today the car has covered just 64, 000 miles and presents with a pleasing and well-documented service history, including 13 stamps in the book, the most recent at 62, 851 miles representing consistent and careful maintenance throughout its life.
