Triton Project For Sale
1957 Wideline frame 650 6T engine, original and new log book (bike has its original valuable number) some other paperwork in file. Lots of new and refurbished parts, many hours spent already. I intended to have it as a classic racer for the road with a purposeful look but off course the beauty of a Triton is you can make it what you want.
Engine was from a local chap that had done a bit to it, it’s got new mainberings and larger valves. K2f mag is there but needs parts as does the carb (new alloy bell mouth), AMC gearbox
It’s got some great period bits (some showing great quality some show signs of age) to mention a few, Tickle alloy top yoke, Wassel race seat in great condition, alloy flanged wheels, scooped/ vented front brake etc.
The rear wheel was rebuilt, new bearings, (think the front has new bearings too) front forks too with Manx shorter stanchions, new headrace needle roller bearings and seals.
Engine plates seem special too, engines a little forward and leaning more forward, an old racers trick I heard!
Box of bits I have to go with it to include, clutch, alloy chain case, side stand, footrest, lever, some cable bits, box of bolts, nuts washers etc.
